Gather Together Stamp Set

Hello Friends,

Yes, I’m so glad to have you in my life, whether you’re a real life friend, a blog friend, a Facebook friend, etc.  I value you all and thank you for being in my life!

Gather Together Stamp SetThis card is perfect for letting your friends and/or family you’re glad that they’re a part of your life.  The sentiment and the large leaf are both stamps from the Gather Together Stamp Set, which is my favorite Autumn set.  The leaf is watercolored with Shaded Spruce Ink and the new Water Painters and is cut out with the matching die from the Gathered Leaves Dies Set.  Don’t you just love it when the stamp sets have matching dies? I know I sure do!

I also used a piece of the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper and a slightly larger piece of Shaded Spruce Cardstock on the front of a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base. It is wrapped with a piece of the new 3/8″ Embroidered Ribbon, a natural open-weave ribbon with rustic embroidered design.

Three Shaded Spruce Rhinestones come from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels pack. This pack of self-adhesive rhinestones has 140 pieces in Cherry Cobbler, Coastal Cabana, Night of Navy, Pumpkin Pie, and Shaded Spruce.  This package of rhinestones are FREE this month as an online ordering gift. (See below.)

This is a really quick and easy card to make for letting everyone know how happy you are to know them!

I’ve used the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper Stack on many of my cards because I love it so much!  It has 48 sheets of plaids suitable for fall, winter, spring and summer. It is also one of the designer papers on sale this month.  You can see all of the papers on sale below.

The other items I’ve used on this card are shown below, as well.  When purchasing these Stampin’ Up! products, make sure to use the Hostess Code for October – ATA2PAVK. Use this Hostess Code when completing your on-line order of $45.00 or more before taxes and shipping to receive this month’s Hostess gift.  Do not use the Hostess Code if your on-line order is $150.00 or more (before tax and shipping).  Just email me that you’ve placed your order on-line and I will send you this month’s gift, PLUS you’ll receive Hostess Dollars to purchase product out of any of the current Stampin’ Up! catalogs.  This month’s Hostess gift is the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels – 140 rhinestones in Cherry Cobbler, Coastal Cabana, Night of Navy, Pumpkin Pie, and Shaded Spruce.

Sparkly Seasons Overlapping Fun Fold Christmas Card

Hello Friends,

I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend! Yesterday was World Cardmaking Day and I attended an online creative retreat.  It was so much fun and I learned some new fun folds. We had a little time after each presentation to come up with our own cards using the folds. Here is the firstSparkly Seasons Overlapping Fun Fold Christmas Card one I made. I used a retired stamp set because I just love this cute snowman.  I felt like he went perfectly with the black and white Plaid Tidings Paper I used.  Do you select the paper you’re going to use for your card or the stamp set first?  I usually pick the stamp set first, but this paper was just laying on my desk waiting to be used. I love plaids, especially black and white!  I used Real Red Cardstock to add some more color to the card.  This card was fun and easy to make.  I hope you like it!

Hello, Pumpkin Kit from Stampin' Up!

It’s the perfect way to always have cards and cute gifts on hand for every occasion. Your first kit includes a free gift—a clear stamping block. The September Paper Pumpkin is fabulous! You can make the little cracker treat boxes as shown in this video or you can use the contents of the kit to make Fall, Halloween, or Thanksgiving projects.

September, 2020 Paper Pumpkin

I also want to show you 3 cards I made with this kit.  There is a ton of pre-cut paper pieces in this kit-pumpkins, black cats, colored leaves, flowers, tags, etc.  If you don’t want to make the cracker treat boxes, You will be able to make many cards!

Hello, Pumpkin Kit from Stampin' Up!I used a Pumpkin Pie Cardstock base with a piece of the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper on top of it for this card. The little wheelbarrow comes from the Autumn Goodness Stamp Set and was cut out with the matching die from the Autumn Wheelbarrow Die Set. The pumpkins, leaves, and the greeting where all included in the kit. The Pumpkin Pie Cardstock label behind the wheelbarrow was cut out with one of the dies from the Stitched Nested Labels Dies Set. (I love the stitching around the edges of it!) Usually I don’t normally use many more items than those that come in the kit, but the plaid paper and wheelbarrow where leftover from another project and were just sitting on my desk, so I decided to use them.  I colored the Rhinestone Jewels with my Dark So Saffron blends to match the card.

This second card is made with a Cajun Craze Hello Pumpkin Kit from Stampin' Up!Cardstock base with an embossed Whisper White panel on top of it. Everything else, except the Rhinestone Jewels came in the Paper Pumpkin Kit.  The kits even come with Glue Dots and Dimensionals to complete your projects!

Hello, Pumpkin Kit from Stampin' Up!

This last card was made with a Thick Whisper White Card base.  The top panel is Whisper White, as well.  I inked my “blob” stamp with So Saffron Ink, sprayed water onto it, and then stamped it on my paper for the background.  You don’t want to get too much water on the stamp-just enough to let the ink spread out a little bit.  Too much will cause your paper to become saturated!  Again, everything else, except the rhinestones came for the Paper Pumpkin Kit.

Gather Together Stamp Set with Gold Rings from Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

I just hopped on to share a beautiful card with you tonight. I love the Gold Rings and this card is the first one I’ve made so that I could use one of them.Gather Together Stamp Set with Gold Rings from Stampin' Up!                                                                                                                                                                    The card base is made from Cajun Craze Cardstock.  The next layer is a panel of Very Vanilla which was embossed with the Old World 3-D Embossing.  The leaves and pumpkin images are from the Gather Together Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up!  All the large leaves and the pumpkin were embossed with Gold Embossing Powder and ink was sponged onto them. The smaller leaves were cut out of Cinnamon Cider Cardstock. Once everything was adhered to the card front, I added a Bumblebee Ribbon, the Gold Hoop, and Gold Rhinestones.  I love inking the leaves like this. I live in Florida now and sure do miss the changing of the leaves. I usually try to spend time in near the Smoky Mountains in October so I can see all the beautiful colors, but will not be going this year because of Covid.  Hopefully I won’t miss going next year.  Get your Gather Together Stamp Set, the matching Gathered Leaves Dies, and the Gold Hoops so you can make your Autumn cards now.  Make sure to  Code for the month of September is BQEUWTME.
