Hello, Pumpkin Kit from Stampin' Up!

It’s the perfect way to always have cards and cute gifts on hand for every occasion. Your first kit includes a free gift—a clear stamping block. You’ll also build a collection of stamps and ink to use on other projects. Every month you will receive a special stamp set and a mini ink pad to keep. There’s no pressure—you can cancel or suspend at any time. Subscribe by the 10th of the month to get started!

The September Paper Pumpkin is fabulous! You can make the little cracker treat boxes as shown in this video or you can use the contents of the kit to make Fall, Halloween, or Thanksgiving projects.

Here is the cracker treat box I made with the Paper Pumpkin instructions. There are enough supplies for 20 of them, which I will be making for my granddaughter’s kindergarten class.

September, 2020 Paper Pumpkin

I also want to show you 3 cards I made with this kit.  There is a ton of pre-cut paper pieces in this kit-pumpkins, black cats, colored leaves, flowers, tags, etc.  If you don’t want to make the cracker treat boxes, You will be able to make many cards!

Hello, Pumpkin Kit from Stampin' Up!I used a Pumpkin Pie Cardstock base with a piece of the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper on top of it for this card. The little wheelbarrow comes from the Autumn Goodness Stamp Set and was cut out with the matching die from the Autumn Wheelbarrow Die Set. The pumpkins, leaves, and the greeting where all included in the kit. The Pumpkin Pie Cardstock label behind the wheelbarrow was cut out with one of the dies from the Stitched Nested Labels Dies Set. (I love the stitching around the edges of it!) Usually I don’t normally use many more items than those that come in the kit, but the plaid paper and wheelbarrow where leftover from another project and were just sitting on my desk, so I decided to use them.  I colored the Rhinestone Jewels with my Dark So Saffron blends to match the card.

This second card is made with a Cajun Craze Hello Pumpkin Kit from Stampin' Up!Cardstock base with an embossed Whisper White panel on top of it. Everything else, except the Rhinestone Jewels came in the Paper Pumpkin Kit.  The kits even come with Glue Dots and Dimensionals to complete your projects!

Hello, Pumpkin Kit from Stampin' Up!

This last card was made with a Thick Whisper White Card base.  The top panel is Whisper White, as well.  I inked my “blob” stamp with So Saffron Ink, sprayed water onto it, and then stamped it on my paper for the background.  You don’t want to get too much water on the stamp-just enough to let the ink spread out a little bit.  Too much will cause your paper to become saturated!  Again, everything else, except the rhinestones came for the Paper Pumpkin Kit.

Paper Pumpkin Alternative Cards

Hello Friends,

I can’t believe we’re already in September! There is no change in the weather here in Florida and no changing of leaves to look forward to, but I am beginning to get that Fall-feeling. In fact, I’ve been making things and already started my Fall decorating!

I have more summer cards to share with you, but don’t know if I will after this post or if I’ll just begin posting my Fall cards.  I do want to show you a few of my alternative Paper Pumpkin cards today. The Summer Nights Paper Pumpkin Kit from July was incredible! I loved the stamp set and the postcard-type paper.

Paper Pumpkin Alternative CardsI didn’t want to make postcards, so I made 9 full size cards by adding a 4-1/4″  x  5-1/2″ card base to each one.  (I love to make the paper Pumpkin cards as the directions show, but I also like to see what else I can do with them.)  I used the By the Dock Stamp Set and the Mountain Air Stamp Set for one of the cards and I love the way it turned out. The background was perfect for this card. I stamped the dock and boat images with Black Momento Ink and colored them with Stampin’ Blends Markers – Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, and Soft Suede.  When I was finished with the coloring, I adhered the postcard paper to the front of a Whisper White Cardstock base. So quick and easy! The photo turned out blurry so I need to take a better one, but it’s too dark right now.
