Watercolored Birthday Blooms

Hi Friends,

I love watercoloring! I don’t care if it’s with paint, markers, watercolor pencils, Blender Pens, Aqua Painters, or paint brushes…It’s just so much fun.

The watercolored rose on this card was first stamped in VersaMark and embossed in gold. I then use an AquaClassy Cut-ups Creations Painter and my ink pads to color it.

I’ve used several Stampin’ Up! colors for my card. The base is Whisper White Car Stock, both mats are Peekaboo Peach Card Stock, and the stamped layers are watercolor paper. The ribbon is also Peekaboo Peach.  The flower was colored with Peekaboo Peach, Old Olive, Tangerine Tango, and Daffodil Delight Inks.

I’m entering this card in the Clean and Simple May Watercolor Challenge, which is to use flowers on your card.

I have kits available to make this card, as well as others. Click on “Card Kits for Sale” on the Menu Bar above.

Have a wonderful day! Terry
