Rose Garden Diagonal Pop-up Card

Hello Friends.

I hope you all having been making lots of cards this week.  I want to share a card I’m entering in the Paper Players Clean and Simple Challenge (PP291) this week. The challenge is to use butterflies on a project.Rose Garden Thinlits Dies (Very easy for me to do!)

I made this diagonal pop-up card using the Rose Garden Thinlits Dies, the Butterflies Thinlits Dies, the Bold Butterfly Framelits Dies, and the Birthday Blooms Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up!

The card base and the rose were made with Watermelon Wonder Card Stock, the butterfly was made with So Saffron and Whisper White Card Stocks, and the leaves with Old Olive Card Stock. They were all die-cut and adhered to a panel of Whisper White Card Stock and placed on the card front. I added a few pearl embellishments and a greeting stamped in Basic Black Ink.

Here is the inside of the card.  I stamped the flower image from the Birthday Blooms Stamp Set in Black Staz-on Ink and watercolored the leaves with Old Olive Ink. This butterfly was made with Watermelon Wonder and Whisper White Card Stocks.

Classy Cut-ups CreationsI hope you like it!

Have a wonderful day! Terry

A very pretty outside Terry and I love that bold rose diecut – the additional pop up butterfly on the inside is a neat and unexpected touch. Thanks for joining us over at The Paper Players this week!
