I hope you all have had a great week and got lots of stamping done and cards finished. Have you started your own “Let’s Bring Birthdays Back.” If you did not read my blog post about this campaign, click here. I have had many requests for birthday cards already!
Here is another card we made in some previous card making classes. This card was made with one of the FREE stamp sets from the Sale-a-Bration Catalog called Flowering Fields. It contains 7 stamps and comes in either wood mount or clear. Haven’t heard of Stampin’ Up’s yearly Sale-a-Bration? Click here to find out more and see the catalog of the FREE products. The card base is Calypso Coral, the next layer is Crumb Cake, and the stamped layer is Whisper White with a scalloped border. The flower images, the butterfly images, and the greeting were stamped in Basic Black Archival Ink. The flowers and butterflies were colored with Stampin’ Write Markers. I used some retired ribbon (I wish Stampin’ Up! would bring this ruffled ribbon back!) and a retired embossing folder on the Crumb Cake Card Stock, but you can substitute any ribbon or embossing folder to make this card.
If you already have the Flowering Fields Sale-a-Bration stamp set, feel free to CASE (copy and share everything) my card, and if not, place your $50 or more order (before tax and shipping) to get your stamp set for FREE!
