Here is my card for this week’s Monday Madness – Cards You Can Make in 10 Minutes or Less. I needed a birthday card for a friend and wanted to make it in her favorite color – blue. I have made several of these cards in in the past with different colors for different people. I made this card by cutting a piece of Bashful Blue Card Stock (105120) to 4-1/4″ x 11″, then scored and folded it at 5-1/2″. I cut a piece of Whisper White Card Stock (100730) to 4″ x 5-1/4″, stamped the greeting from the Curly Cute Stamp Set (wood-117014; clear-120510) on the bottom of it, and ran it through the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine (113439) with the Elegant Lines Embossing Folder (119277). Make sure the greeting is placed in the embossing folder so that it is not embossed. I then wrapped this panel with a piece of Bashful Blue Ribbon and tied a bow for the front. The bow was attached to the ribbon with Glue Dots (103683). The panel was then adhered to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755). I stamped the flower image in Bashful Blue Ink (126961) on a piece of Whisper White Card Stock, which was cut to 2-3/4″ x 3-1/4″. (This stamp is retired, but you can use any large flower stamp to make this card.) It was adhered to a piece of Bashful Blue Card Stock cut to 3″ x 3-1/2″. This panel was adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430).
You can make this card in any color card stock you want…why not make a whole set of cards, wrap them with a piece of ribbon, and give them as a gift. You could use the same color card stock for every card or mix up the colors!
Purchase everything I used to make this card (except the flower stamp and the Bashful Blue Ribbon) by clicking on the “Order Stampin’ Up! Online” button in the right column.
