Comfort Cafe Owl

I love owls. I love birds. I love making cards. I love making cards with owls and birds on them! So, today I’m sharing a card that has an owl made with Crumb Cake Card Stock (120953) and a piece of one of the prints out of the new Comfort Cafe Designer Series Paper Pack (126898). My little owl was punched out with the Owl Builder Punch (118074) and is sitting on a branch made with the Bird Builder Punch (117191), another one of my favorite punches. It was popped up on a piece of Chocolate Chip Card Stock (102128), which was first cut out with one of the dies from the Labels Collections Framelits Dies Set (125598) with Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430). This piece was backed with a larger Framelits Label that was cut out of a different print paper from the Comfort Cafe Designer Series Paper Pack. I ran the front side of the Summer Starfruit Card Stock (126839) card base through the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine (113439) with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder (117335) and adhered the owl and the labels to it with more Dimensionals. Then I punched out 5 flowers with one of the punches from the Ittly Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309), added a small Basic Pearl (119247) to each one, and placed them on the card front with Glue Dots (103683). The greeting is from the Loving Thoughts Stamp Set (wood-125843; clear-125845). You could use this card for many occasions, but I am using it to send to my sister so I can let her know I’m thinking about her and I miss her. She likes owls, too!
