If you don’t want a sneak peak, STOP NOW! If you do, continue looking and drooling!
As a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I get to see the new catalog and all the fabulous new stamp sets, punches, dies, colors, etc. before my customers. I can tell you I absolutely love it! With all the many, many stamp sets that will no longer be available for purchase after the end of this month, Stampin’ Up! had to replace them with new sets for this year. Wowzer! They are fantastic as I knew they would be!
Here is your sneak peak of a new stamp set called Everything Eleanor. This set is so elegant, just like the President’s wife I most admire…Eleanor Roosevelt. If you don’t know much about her, you should really read one of the many biographies written about her. Did you know that she once snuck away from home for a plane ride with Amelia Earhart? Well, she did! She and Amelia were great friends. Enough of the history lesson…let’s get on to the card I made using Everything Eleanor. The stamp set has 8 stamps in it and the clear set comes in 2 cases because 2 of the stamps are so large! You can see the swirly image in the background and the big label image where I stamped “Happy Birthday.” I used 2 of the flower stamps, as well.
I stamped the Island Indigo swirls and smallest yellow flowers on the Whisper White background before I embossed it with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. Then I spritzed a little Calypso Coral Ink on top of it. The label image was stamped in Pool Party Ink and cut out. I stamped the small and medium size flowers with Daffodil Delight, then embossed them with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder. I tied a Faux Bow on a piece of Island Indigo Ruffled Ribbon and the card was finished and ready to send! Did I tell you I love this stamp set? You will be able to purchase this stamp set on June 1st when the new catalog goes live!
