The Open Sea and Nautical Expedition Designer Series Paper

This is a birthday card made with The Open Sea Stamp Set (wood-123030; clear-123032) from last year’s Summer Mini Catalog.  Many people don’t know that this stamp Nautical Expedition Designer Series paperset is still available, but it is and can be purchased until July, 2012.  This is a great stamp set for making nautical or masculine cards, scrapbook pages, etc.  I used the Nautical Expedition Designer Series Paper (122343) on this card, as well, and it is available on the Clearance Rack right now!  Once it is sold out, it is gone forever so I made sure I ordered 4 packs of it because I love using it on masculine cards so much! The card base is Cherry Cobbler Card Stock (119685) and the ship and compass images were stamped on Naturals White Card Stock (102316) in Early Espresso Ink (119670).  I dyed a piece of White Baker’s Twine (124262) with a few drops of Early Espresso Reinker (119789) and water.  After it dried, I tied it around a Naturals White Card Stock panel that had been stamped with the ship’s log image from The Open Sea Stamp Set.

Stampin’ Up! just added 55 new items to the Clearance Rack and the Nautical Expedition Stampin' Up Designer Series PaperDesigner Series Paper Pack was one of them.  This pack includes twelve, 12″ x 12″ papers (2 each of 6 double-sided designs).   It features old world maritime imagery and is perfect for travel-themed and masculine projects with classic appeal.  It is a must-have for those who love the vintage look.  Get yours now for only $4.39 by clicking on the “Order Stampin’ Up! Online” Button in the right column!
