Faux Tile Technique with Elements of Style

At one of my classes last week I taught the Faux Tile Technique using the  Simply Scored Tool (122334) from Stampin’ Up!  This week, I will be using another Faux Tile Technique that is not Faux Tile Card Using the Fabulous Florets Stamp Setdone with a scoring tool.  Both techniques produce the coolest cards, but I actually like this one a little better.  This one is a bit more difficult because you are actually cutting your stamped image into squares and you have to keep track of which piece goes where.  But, I’ve come up with an easy solution for that!  Want to know how?  Attend my class this Friday to find out!  Don’t live in the area?  Come back here next week for the details!

This card was made with Bashful Blue (124266) and Whisper White (100730) Card Stock.  The stamped image is from the Elements of Style Stamp Set (wood-118611; clear-120045).  I used Bashful Blue Ink Faux Tile Technique Using the Elements of Style Stamp Set(105209) on the stamp.  I only used one stamped image, but this technique also works well with several images stamped together to make a scene.  Give both of these techniques a try and see which one you like better.

Visit my online store to purchase any of the items I’ve used to make these cards.

Happy stamping!  Terry
